David was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the UCLA Graduate School of Film and Director of Education at the National Business Academy. His academic background can be helpful in writing technical copy for your project, as can his experience as a published writer. He introduced the latest developments in the field of Virtual Reality hardware and software in a featured article for the national magazine Videography.

For a peer-reviewed quantum physics journal paper, David was honored to be credited as co-author along with NASA physicist Tom Campbell, JPL physicist Joe Sauvageau and CalTech mathematician Houman Owhadi. David’s contribution was sharing the layman’s viewpoint with the writing team.

FICTION

David started as a story analyist for Irving Lazar’s literary agency and his wife’s production company. Considered one of the most important literary agents, Lazar represented famous writers like Ernest Hemingway, Truman Capote, Tennessee Williams and many more.

Subsequently, David was represented by the Lynn Pleshette agency for his optioned screenplay that formed the starting point of a Sci-Fi series he’s currently developing:

David was sidetracked from writing when recruited to work on feature films due to his movie production experience as an Assistant Director and his computer animation and programming skills.  

One of the head-writers for the TV series Bones, Scott Williams read some of David’s fiction. Scott told David, “You’re a great writer. I look at some people and wonder how they ever got work as a writer. And I look at you and don’t understand why you’re not working as a full time writer.”
